ICEBUG---is a cutesy name but don't think this isn't a winter tough brand by a long stretch. Hailing from Sweden the "…sole is greater than the sum of its parts…" has the BUGgrip embedded with carbide steel studs for instant traction---in its trail running shoes and winter boots. Plus proprietary RB9X rubber compound that is cold temps tough. We had a cold enough winter to experience rubber that hardens like a rock in arctic chill---ugh…so now we know to look for rubber that can withstand polar vortexes. This makes a big difference.

BOGS footwear is still Oregon based…yet has managed massive leaps forward into the fashion-y side of winter footwear that transcends rural settings for cities coast to coast.
Given how much we wear our clog-like Bogs Urban Farmer Slides…waterproof with that unique springy Rebound technology in the outsole that makes dashing for mass transit possible...we figured the same comfort level, and water tight construction are givens for this nice looking new assortment of leather kicks. Great launch for Fall 2014-with technical features in casual styles.
