The runway collection that Lacoste shows in NYC…sets the tone for what delivers later in the rtw apparel, footwear and accessories…posted prior.

Designer Felipe Olivera Baptista Fall 2014 collection of cozy layers, technical wool jersey, knits and nylon separates ---was inspired by the Basque countryside setting of the family golf course, Chantico…belonging to the Lacoste descendants…and archival images of what was worn on and off the golf course-"nonchalance elegance"….the rustic purity of the  architecture…and of course, the weather.



Highlights were many---especially the parkas all well done with practical features and incredibly chic….countryside or city appropriate.

practical…too love this color…inspired by a varsity jacket but with soften shoulders+sleeves, ribbed collar nice touch

Accessories…knit caps, Chantico handbag in signature petit piqué leather in green, burgundy, navy and burnt black-the colors of the clothing collection.
