With a big birthday in the wings (its 80th!), the French label Lacoste -and its creative lead-Felipe Olivera Baptista---celebrated a few months early-during the Mercedes Benz NY Fashion WeeK/Lincoln Center- with 80's design inspiration--- including bold colors and clever prints...track suit ease, and even a fanny pack. Ha.

Recently, the company's USA based- Madison Avenue showroom hosted a media preview of Spring 2013---with the footwear and in-house designed satchels/handbags---displayed with the RTW apparel. A great way to see a cohesive collection full of refreshed classics and new shapes that move this label well beyond its preppy antecedents, imo.
