Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, NYC

One of the last shows of the recent Mercedes Benz Spring 2012 collections featured the modern sophisticated- clothes by NY native?Parsons grad, Elene Cassis.

Amit Abraham, the lead hair stylist for L'Oréal Professionnel---devised rather complicated to do - hair bobs that wonderfully worked perfectly with the geometric, angular/color block feminine frocks.

The hair "process" was something to behold backstage----with tresses copiously sprayed with L'Oréal Professionnel Infinium 3 Spray, then curled on foils...and finished with L'oréal Professionnel Fresh Dust (will be launched in April 2012) -a multi-tasking hair powder to hold the 'do and keep the shine down---a perfect foil to the shimmery make-up.

WHAT ELSE:

We had a chance to try another product used at the show to protect the models' hair AND-available NOW-the add shine, anti-frizz--L'Oréal Professionnel's Mythic Oil---a multi-purpose hair oil made with enriching avocado oil -blessed naturally with fatty acids (healthy, btw), omega 3,6, and 9...and vitamins A, B1, B2 and D...in tandem with  anti-oxidant blessed-Grape Seed Oil.
We spray it on our hands then rub through our long tresses-especially the ends, before we hit the pool, cap on next, of course---and it protects our locks from the nasty chlorine.

Other ways to use this fresh, lightly scented product-that comes in a pump bottle----spray two/three pumps on wet locks...then blow dry as usually-for detangled, smooth and supple hair. $29

Candlelight Cream Shadow-beige gold works on all skin tones

A subtle cat's eye (Blade Ink Eye Gel) and a nice creamy neutral lip
